1. Data controller
The data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data is Solqenta a. s., with registered office at Mlynské Nivy 15, 821 09 Bratislava, Company ID: 53 487 219, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III City Court, Section: Sa, Insert No. 7421/B.
2. What data we process
When you subscribe to the newsletter we process your name and email address. For investments we also process data needed for client identification under Slovak Act No. 297/2008 Coll. (KYC/AML).
3. Purpose of processing
We process data to inform you about new projects, fulfil contractual obligations, for accounting and tax purposes, and to comply with statutory duties under Regulation (EU) 2020/1503.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
5. Retention period
We retain data for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for the period required by law (typically 10 years for accounting records, 5 years for KYC data).
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port your data, to object, and to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.
7. Recipients
We may share data with payment and accounting service providers, auditors, legal counsel and, where required by law, public authorities, including the National Bank of Slovakia.
